Doug is the owner and broker of Shepherd Realty Group and President of Outlook Escrow Inc.
A 36year veteran of the real estate sales industry.
Starting in 1983 in Torrance California as a sales associate for a small independent company he worked to
become one of the top sales people in a large regional firm. After moving to the Inland Empire in the late ’80,
Doug became managing partner of Veteran Housing Center in Riverside and went on to obtain his broker
license in 1991. Over the years he has owned and managed several real estate sale and marketing firms.
Establishing Shepherd Realty Group in 1995 with one sales associate he eventually grew the firm to
over 100 agents. He continues to list and sell real estate everyday with a personal career sales volume of over
$100 Million and hundreds of personal closed sides.
Doug is very involved in his industry and community. His volunteer work includes leadership positions the
National, state and local board of realtors. He served as President of the Inland Valleys Association of Realtors in
2011 and currently is on the Board of Director for the California Association of Realtors.
Doug has been married to Shelley Nuhn since 1984 and they have two daughters.

His eldest daughter Lindsey Folsom, is a California real estate Broker and works as a senior
escrow officer at Outlook Escrow. Their youngest daughter Lauren is also a licensee work in the
West Los Angeles and Beverly Hill markets.
Outside of work he and his wife’s passion are the breeding, training and showing of American Quarter Horses.
Shelley is world class rider who regularly competes at the championship level.
But Doug’s passion is still helping people buy and sell homes. And as anyone who knows him knows, he is not
shy about telling everyone he meets that He is proud to help people own the best product in America…
